Speaker Quran app: languages, reciters and settings
Zovqo has successfully connected this model to the Speaker Quran app via Bluetooth. The app menus shown below provide options for reciters, translations and settings. Successful connection does not by itself verify every control or the audio files installed on the speaker.
Does the app show Malayalam, Hindi, Urdu and English translations?
Yes. All four appear in the Quran translation menu. Other visible options include Bengali, Azerbaijani, Bosnian, German, Persian, French, Indonesian, Kurdish, Malay, Russian, Portuguese, Swahili, Somali, Spanish, Uzbek, Turkish, Kazakh, Gujarati, Dari and Tamil. Available playback depends on the connected speaker and its installed audio.
Which Quran reciters appear in the app?
The reciter menu includes Saad Al-Ghamdi, Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Abdul Rahman Al-Hudhaifi, Mishary Rashid Alafasy, Abu Bakr Al-Shatri, Abdul Basit, Ahmed Al-Ajmi, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Mohamed Siddiq Al-Minshawi and Maher Al-Muaiqly, among others. This is a selection of names visible in the app, rather than a confirmed installed reciter list for this unit.
What Azan settings does the app offer?
The Azan screen shows a master switch, GMT time-zone selection with +4 displayed, Hanafi and Shafi'i options, a calculation-method selector, and individual switches and minute adjustments alongside Fajr, sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha. The example times in the screenshots are not a prayer timetable for your location. Automatic Azan playback, supported cities and the effect of each prayer-time setting on this model have not yet been tested.
How do I connect using Speaker Quran?
- Use the app identified in the supplied instruction leaflet: Speaker Quran.
- Turn on the speaker and enable Bluetooth on your phone.
- Open the app, select the Bluetooth connection menu, search for the speaker and choose the matching device.
- Once connected, check which playback and settings controls work with your model.

The app also shows a device shutdown timer and a lighting-control tab; individual functions have not all been tested.
