Living in Sharjah, it's hard to find quality toys that last more than a week but this squid exceeded all expectations. The movements are incredibly smooth, the lights sync perfectly with the music, and the rechargeable battery lasts surprisingly long.
جبته من ابوظبي هدية للجيران، الاطفال يحبونه والموسيقى حماسية. الجودة زينة والحبار يتحرك بكل الاتجاهات ما يعلق ابداً.
My daughter absolutely loves playing with this in our Ajman apartment, though I do wish the volume had different levels or a mute option. Otherwise the build quality is solid, the dancing mechanism works great, and delivery was lightning fast.
ساكن في الشارقة واشتريته اونلاين، وصلني بسرعة. اللعبة فعلاً تتحمل الضرب من الاطفال والاضاءة LED واضحة والرقصة تضحك، انصح فيه للي يبون هدية مميزة.
Bought this for my nephew's birthday party in Dubai Marina and he hasn't stopped dancing with it! The LED lights are super bright even in daylight and the music is actually catchy rather than annoying.
من عجمان، اللعبة جميلة والرقصة ظريفة بس المشكلة الوحيدة ان الصوت عالي وما فيه زر تخفيف. عموماً يستاهل السعر والعيال يستانسون عليه.
I bought the yellow Dancing Squid Toy as a birthday gift for my 3-year-old, and honestly, it's been one of the best purchases I've made in a while. The moment I turned it on, my little one's face lit up — the LED lights and the wiggly tentacle movements are genuinely mesmerizing for kids.
What impressed me most as a parent is the smart obstacle avoidance. It crawls around the living room floor, bumps into a chair leg, and just changes direction on its own. No more chasing a toy under the sofa every two minutes. My daughter follows it around the room, which has been amazing for getting her moving during tummy time and active play.
I really appreciate the two play modes. During the day we use the music mode and she dances along with it. At bedtime wind-down, we switch to the silent crawling mode so she can still watch it without the noise. The on/off switch is simple enough that she can operate it herself, which she's very proud of.
Build quality feels solid — she's dropped it on our tile floor multiple times and it's still going strong. As a parent, I checked and it's BPA-free plastic with no sharp edges, so I feel comfortable letting her play with it unsupervised. The USB-C charging is a huge plus. One charge lasts well over an hour, and I don't have to keep buying batteries like with her other toys.
The only small note is that the music can get a bit repetitive after a while (as with most kids' toys!), but the silent mode solves that. The fishing rod accessory that comes in the box is a fun little bonus too.
Great value for AED 69. Would definitely recommend to any parent looking for a gift that actually keeps their toddler entertained and moving.
اخذته من محل في دبي للعيال وما شالوه من يدهم من يومها، الاضوية ملونة وشكله ضريف وهو يرقص. الشحن بالUSB يمشي حاله وما يحتاج بطاريات كل شوي.
We picked this up from a toy store in Abu Dhabi and honestly it's been the best impulse purchase. USB charging is super convenient and keeps the little ones entertained for hours while I get work done.
